§1 Scope of Application and Definitions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern all contracts concluded between Akkurat Studios GmbH (hereinafter: “Akkurat”) and consumers via the online shop available at https://akkurat.tv, in the version applicable at the time of the order.

A “consumer” is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§13 BGB).

§2 Conclusion of Contract and Storage of Contract Text

The following provisions apply to all orders placed via our online shop at https://akkurat.tv.

The product offerings in our online shop are non-binding and do not constitute a legal offer. By completing the order process, the consumer submits a binding offer to purchase. The contract is concluded once we confirm the order via email (order confirmation).

The order process includes the following steps:

  • Selection of products
  • Confirmation by clicking the “Order” button
  • Review of the cart
  • Proceed to checkout
  • Log in or create an account
  • Final review and correction options
  • Binding submission of the order by clicking “Confirm Order” or “Buy”
  • Order confirmation is sent automatically via email

The contract text is not stored online after the transaction. However, we send all relevant order data and these GTC to the consumer via email immediately upon order completion.

§3 Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment Terms

All prices include applicable statutory VAT. Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed before order completion.

Accepted payment methods: prepayment (advance bank transfer), PayPal, credit card (Visa, Mastercard).

For prepayment, the payment is due immediately after the contract is concluded.

§4 Legal Notice – Responsibility for Image and Material Rights

All images, visual materials, and other media content used in the AKKURAT Journal have been provided exclusively by the interviewed director. Akkurat Studios GmbH does not verify or guarantee the legal clearance of this material. Responsibility for obtaining rights, licenses, or permissions lies entirely with the content provider.

Akkurat assumes no liability for legal claims or infringements arising from third-party materials.

§5 Delivery

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, goods are ready for dispatch within 10 business days. For prepayment, this period begins after payment instruction has been issued; for other methods, on the day following contract conclusion.

Risk of accidental loss or deterioration transfers to the consumer upon handover of the goods.

§6 Retention of Title

We retain ownership of the goods until full payment has been received.

§7 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party designated by you (not the carrier) took possession of the goods.

Submit a clear statement (e.g., email or postal letter). A sample withdrawal form is available below but is not mandatory.

Consequences of Withdrawal

Upon withdrawal, we shall refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding surcharges for alternative delivery methods), within 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal notice. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or proof thereof.

You must return the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from notifying your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
