Joschka Laukeninks was born in Hamburg in 1989. As a director, Joschka pays special attention to the art direction and visual tone of his films, also looking to match the right visual elements with the narrative and characters involved. In addition, Joschka possesses a great passion for sounds and music. This creative process perfectly marries visual and sonic imagery, which in turn greatly benefit the atmosphere and pacing of each project. Joschka has directed many commercials for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, AXE, Samsung, Volkswagen, OTTO, Barclaycard, and BMW. When not crafting exciting and engaging material for clients, he also works on personal projects: In 2014, pre-production started for his latest short film project “BACKSTORY” (2016), which was shot over a period of 17 days in one and a half years. More recently, Joschka is working on his first feature-length script. Joschka is based in Berlin and Hamburg.
